Strawberry Pretzel Salad
2 cups pretzels, chopped
10 oz. cool whip
3 tblsp. sugar
6 oz. wild strawberry jello
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
Fresh strawberries (2 quarts)
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 - 1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
Mix pretzels, sugar, and butter. Press in bottom of 9 x
13 inch dish. Bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool. Mix
cream cheese, confectioners sugar and cool whip. Layer on top of cool
pretzel crust. Make jello according to package directions and
refrigerate until beginning to set. Mix berries and pecans into jello.
Place on top of cream cheese mixture. Also can put layer of cool whip on
top of jello mixture.
