OPEN HOUSE

At Bradley Kountry Acres each year, we have a Spring Open House on the first Sunday in May to officially kick off our strawberry picking season.  You are welcome to come by to visit our greenhouses and our pick-your-own strawberry patches and enjoy a fun and family afternoon at the farm.  You are invited to register for doorprizes and sample the food from our refreshment tables.  Our goal is to tempt your tastebuds with delicious strawberry recipes, of course using strawberries raised right here on our farm.

If you have a favorite strawberry recipe and are willing to share it, please be sure to bring it by and we’ll try to use it at the next year’s spring open house.  And be sure to pick up copies of other strawberry recipes we have used in the past while you are here.

  In past years we also have had a Fall Open House the first Sunday in October.  Please check back at a later time for an update. 

  You never know who might show up at the strawberry patch at Open House, NewsChannel 5 morning anchor and reporter Steve Hayslip and his family usually either come and pick strawberries either on Open House or one Sunday around Open House.    Below you will see some pictures from our Spring and Fall Open Houses as well as one of Steve Hayslip and his family.
